Experienced healthcare professionals

The Allied Healthcare professionals at Regal Health work in teams to ensure that our disability home support services function at a consistently high standard. As a registered NDIS care service provider and iCare Attendant Care Provider, our qualified team provides expert care with compassion. Our comprehensive care plan includes technical, therapeutic and direct patient care, support services and diagnostics — all of which are covered by NDIS community support.

Develop your care plan

As Regal Health is part of the NDIS community, we provide an online facility so that you can develop your NDIS care plan with ease — simply add your location and choose from our list of centres. When you join Regal Health, our healthcare and support workers will work with you to create a personalised care plan. We start by discussing your goals and then structuring your week accordingly. We will schedule clinicians, care and support workers and a number of other domestic services into your plan, to ensure consistent care is delivered. The plan is then regularly reviewed to ensure that our services and care align with your established goals.

Your first choice for in-home disability support

Since 1966, Regal Health has been providing clinical, personal and domestic support in their community, with the goal of helping people live their life to the fullest. We’re the first private Community Nursing and Allied Health Service in Australia to be accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards — and when surveyed by them, we consistently receive outstanding results on our services.

The benefits of disability support at home

For both people living with a disability and family carers, in-home disability support is a great way to alleviate stress and improve the health of a loved one. A support service can also foster a greater sense of individuality for a person living with a disability, allowing them to rely less on family members for care and live a more independent life.

FAQs

What’s the difference between Disability In-Home Support & In-Home Care?

Disability In-Home Support is covered by the NDIS and is specifically intended for people with a disability. This differs from the In-Home Care Package which is designed to provide healthcare and support services for seniors who desire to live independently at home. While both are government-funded initiatives, the In-Home Care Package is independent of the NDIS.

Is there a difference between NDIS Support & Disability In-Home Support?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government-funded support system for people with a disability. The scheme allocates funding to eligible participants with a disability, so they have the flexibility to choose a disability support service provider that complements their lifestyle.

Who is eligible for Disability In-Home Support?

Anybody is eligible for in-home disability support. However, to qualify to receive funding from the NDIS, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a permanent and significant disability or developmental delay
  • Be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa or a Special Category visa
  • Be under 65 years of age

Once eligible for funding from the NDIS, you will be invited by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to develop a personalised plan that includes your goals and the support services required to reach these goals. Funding will be allocated by the NDIS to cover necessary services within your plan, giving you the freedom to choose your preferred service provider. To learn more about the NDIS and to develop your plan with us, we’ve developed an online NDIS planning system to help you navigate this process.
