INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY 2015 | COMMUNITY NURSES – A Force for Change

Today, on  International Nurses Day 2015, we are provided with an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the continued uncompromising service of our Community Nurses to Regal Home Health, the community, and our clientele.

The theme of this year’s International Nurses Day is “A Force for Change: Care Effective, Cost Effective”. As the largest group of health professionals who are the closest and often only available health workers to the population, Nurses have a great responsibility to improve the health of the population.

At Regal, our Nurses are empowered to provide solutions that make a real difference to the day to day lives of their patients, health systems, communities and the profession. Together with significant changes to the healthcare system including consumer directed care, changing scopes of practice and the influence of technology are also changing the way Nurses work.

It is evident that the Nurses who are attracted to working with Regal embrace the essential healing qualities necessary to excel in Community Nursing.
