People with disability occasionally require some support with accessing the community. Regal NDIS social and community participation support is support to access the community and social engagements. NDIS community participation services are a major part of Regals NDIS services offering.
NDIS social and community participation can include:
NDIS social and community services are delivered by Support Workers in the community. Regals NDIS community participation services are bespoke 1 on 1 services. We will meet you at your home, then support you to access the community from there.

If you have a current NDIS Plan, please contact Regal to make an enquiry to begin your NDIS social and community participation journey.
Once we have received your enquiry, you will be sent a form to complete detailing your NDIS community participation needs. Once Regal has received your form, you will be assigned a designated Disability Coordinator.
Your Disability Coordinator will work with you, your family, and/or your Support Coordinator to better understand your support needs and NDIS social and community participation budget. From there, they will work with you to co-design a bespoke community participation Support Plan tailored to you within your funding allocation. We start by discussing your goals and preferences and then structuring your week accordingly.
The Disability Coordinator will work with you to understand your preferences including staffing, preferred service times, weekly schedule and more. Once agreed upon, your Disability Coordinator will work with the Regal Scheduling Team to design your community participation roster.
Regal will coordinate any specific training for our team of Support Workers and Nurses to promote the delivery of high-quality NDIS social and community participation services tailored to you, including training on the Support Plan. The individual Support Plan is regularly reviewed to ensure that our NDIS community participation services are aligned with your established goals.
If you do not currently have an NDIS Plan, please visit our Private Care page or read our FAQ’s.
Regal has been a leading and trusted home care provider in Sydney since 1966, providing clinical, personal care, social support and domestic support to Greater Metropolitan Sydney for over 56 years. Regal believes high quality NDIS social and community participation services need to be co-designed with the individual who will receive the support, and services delivered are tailored to the goals and lifestyles of people with disability.
At Regal, we believe in designing NDIS community participation plan specifically for the individual, which could be a part of your wider home care support plan if you access Regal for more than 1 type of service. We work with our Clinical Team to promote people with disabilities receiving high quality care and keeping our community staying safe and supported.
What makes Regal different from other NDIS social and community participation providers is that Regal can offer clinical oversight and/or involvement in your support as well as standard Support Worker services because of our NDIS Nursing services. This enables Regal NDIS participants to feel comfort knowing there are Nurses involved in the development and oversight of their NDIS services to provide support if there are any clinical concerns or they require clinical services. Having Regal Nurses involved in care makes Regal confident in providing services to participants with complex support requirements.
Having an assigned Disability Coordinator also separates Regal from other NDIS community participation providers as NDIS participants receive a direct point of contact for their services.
