Who Is Eligible For Government Funded Aged Care?
To be eligible for aged care services, you must be aged 65 or over (50 years or older for Indigenous Australians). Eligibility for a home care package and the level of care approved is decided by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). The ACAT assessment will also determine the level of co-payment required, if any. Regal can assist you with booking an ACAT assessment, guide you through the process and advocate for you as your needs change and you require a higher package level.
